St. John Berchmans Catholic School

40 Days of Service

Dear SJB Parents and guardians,

We know that there are many ways to serve!
In reference to the call of service that we are all asked to be a part of this Lenten Season,
we as the school community of Saint John Berchmans Catholic School will be taking on a
practice of service that all students can take part in.   We are asking all students to donate a jar of peanut butter and/or jar of jelly. These donations
will help the Catholic Charities Food Pantry. We recently had our 7th and 8th graders volunteer service time to the Catholic Charities
Food Pantry. They assisted with a food pantry drive by stocking, sorting, and packing
essential food donations for those in real need. Please turn in your donations to your homeroom teacher starting March 20th and
continuing through to April 17th, 2019.  We greatly appreciate your donations as we all participate in this school-wide endeavor
to help to feed the needy. Let us also offer our prayers with these donations as we take action
as a true follower of Jesus to always be willing to do for others.

God bless,
Nora Garcia
